Ever felt like you need a coffee IV drip to function in the morning? I was that person, until the Ninja Prestige DualBrew System waltzed into my life. This quirky-looking machine, with its drip coffee pitcher on one side, Nespresso machine on the other, and a milk-foaming arm that pops out like a coffee-loving jack-in-the-box, has become my new BFF in the a.m.

I’m not a morning person, and even the Philips Hue Play Wall Washer’s sunrise simulation struggles to coax me out of bed. But with the DualBrew System, I’ve found my coffee-making sweet spot. Whether I want a classic drip coffee or a fancy espresso, this machine brews it up quick and easy.

Drip Coffee: Set It & Forget It
Drip coffee is always a no-brainer in the morning, and with the DualBrew’s timer, you can prep everything the night before. The machine is packed with thoughtful touches, like a two-ended measuring scoop for pre-ground coffee, and a glass jug that lets you see how much brew is left. Plus, it has a drip-stop function to prevent any hotplate mess.

Espresso: Short & Strong
For those who like their coffee intense, the DualBrew’s Nespresso machine delivers. It brews in three sizes, accommodates different cup heights, and uses Nespresso Original capsules. I picked up some artisanal ones from a local roaster, and the taste was out of this world.

Milk Foaming: Not Perfect, But Handy
The milk frother is just a whisk and doesn’t heat the milk, but it’s great for quick and easy cappuccinos. It’s not as fancy as a steam wand, but it gets the job done and tucks away neatly when not in use.

I’m still testing the Ninja Prestige DualBrew System, but so far, it’s making a fantastic impression. Stay tuned for my full review, where I’ll decide if it deserves a spot in my roundups of the best drip coffee makers and Nespresso machines.
