Ingredients

Greek Beef

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Creamy Feta Sauce

  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1–2 tbsp water (to thin)
  • Black pepper to taste

Wrap Ingredients

  • 4 pita breads or flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • Optional: olives, pepperoncini, parsley

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add:

  • garlic
  • oregano
  • paprika
  • cumin
  • onion powder
  • salt & pepper

Cook another 2 minutes.

Finish with lemon juice.

Set aside.


Step 2: Make the Creamy Feta Sauce

In a blender or food processor combine:

  • feta
  • Greek yogurt
  • olive oil
  • lemon juice
  • garlic
  • pepper

Blend until smooth.

Add water as needed for desired consistency.


Step 3: Warm the Wraps

Warm pita or flatbread:

  • in skillet
  • microwave
  • or oven

This helps prevent tearing.


Step 4: Assemble the Wraps

Spread feta sauce onto wrap.

Add:

  1. Lettuce
  2. Beef
  3. Cucumbers
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Onion
  6. Extra feta or olives (optional)

Drizzle more feta sauce on top.

Wrap tightly.
