Air-fried Crispy Cauliflower

Ingredients

Cauliflower

  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Coating

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Optional Extra Crisp

  • 1 tbsp crushed pork rinds
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk powder

Dip (Optional)

  • Greek yogurt + hot sauce
  • Ranch dressing
  • Garlic mayo
  • Sugar-free buffalo sauce

Instructions

1. Prep the Cauliflower

Wash and dry cauliflower thoroughly.

Cut into medium florets.

Drying well is important for crispiness.


2. Season

In a large bowl:

  • Toss cauliflower with olive oil.

In another bowl mix:

  • almond flour
  • parmesan
  • seasonings

Coat cauliflower evenly in the mixture.

Press coating lightly onto florets.


3. Air Fry

Preheat air fryer to:

  • 390°F / 200°C

Place cauliflower in a single layer.

Cook:

  • 12–16 minutes total

Shake basket halfway through.

For extra crispy texture:

  • spray lightly with oil halfway through.

4. Serve

Best served hot.

Optional finishing:

  • parmesan sprinkle
  • chopped parsley
  • squeeze of lemon
  • buffalo sauce toss
