Pepperoni Pizza Crisps

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–24 pepperoni slices
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

For Dipping

  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet or air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  3. Place small mounds of mozzarella cheese (about 2 tablespoons each) on the parchment, leaving space between them.
  4. Lightly flatten each mound into a circle.
  5. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan.
  6. Place 1–2 pepperoni slices on top of each cheese circle.
  7. Bake for 8–12 minutes until the edges are deep golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes. They will crisp up as they cool.
  9. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Air Fryer Method

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely before removing.

Tips

  • Use low-moisture whole-milk mozzarella for the crispiest result.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and re-crisp in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
