Keto Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers

Keto Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers

Keto Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers are a low-carb twist on classic burgers, where tender roasted cabbage slices replace traditional buns. This dish delivers all the savory satisfaction of a cheeseburger while keeping carbs extremely low. The combination of juicy seasoned meat, melted cheese, and caramelized cabbage makes it a hearty, comforting keto meal.

The key ingredient in this recipe is cabbage, which becomes soft, slightly sweet, and caramelized when baked in the oven. Thick slices of cabbage act as sturdy “buns” that hold the burger together while adding fiber and nutrients without the carbs found in bread. Roasting enhances its flavor and gives it a satisfying texture.

The beef patty is seasoned and cooked until juicy and flavorful, providing the main protein base of the dish. Ground beef is typically mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to enhance its natural richness. When baked, the patties stay tender and absorb the flavors of the melted cheese and cabbage.

Cheese plays an important role by adding creaminess and binding the layers together. A slice of cheddar, mozzarella, or American cheese melts over the hot beef patty, creating a gooey layer that enhances both flavor and texture. It also helps replicate the classic burger experience without the need for a bun.

Overall, Keto Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers are simple, filling, and perfect for meal prep or family dinners. They are oven-friendly, require minimal ingredients, and deliver a satisfying low-carb alternative to traditional burgers while still keeping all the familiar comfort food flavors.
