Air-Fried Crispy Cauliflower

Air-Fried Crispy Cauliflower

Air-fried crispy cauliflower is a flavorful, crunchy dish that transforms simple cauliflower into a satisfying snack or side. The air fryer gives the florets a golden, crisp exterior while keeping the inside tender. It’s a great alternative to deep-fried snacks, offering similar texture with much less oil.

The secret to achieving crispiness lies in the coating. A light batter or seasoned breadcrumb layer helps create that crunchy outer shell. Spices like paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper enhance the natural mild flavor of cauliflower, making it bold and savory.

Cauliflower absorbs seasoning well, which makes it highly versatile. You can keep it simple with basic spices or toss it in sauces like buffalo, garlic butter, or spicy chili after cooking. This flexibility makes it suitable for different tastes and occasions.

Air frying ensures even cooking and faster results compared to oven roasting. The circulating hot air removes moisture from the surface, allowing the coating to crisp up beautifully without deep frying. It also makes cleanup easier and reduces excess oil.

This dish works well as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. It pairs perfectly with dips like ranch, garlic yogurt sauce, or spicy mayo. It’s also a great option for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter, plant-based alternative.
