Ingredients
For the Beef
- 500 g (1 lb) beef strips (sirloin, flank steak, or thinly sliced beef)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Noodles
- 250 g noodles (egg noodles, ramen, or stir-fry noodles)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Spicy Sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1–2 tbsp chili sauce or sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef
- In a bowl, combine beef strips with:
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Sesame oil
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Cornstarch
- Black pepper
- Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2: Cook the Noodles
- Cook noodles according to package instructions.
- Drain and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
Step 3: Air Fry the Beef
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place the marinated beef in the basket (avoid overcrowding).
Air Fry:
- 200°C (390°F) for 8–10 minutes
- Shake halfway through cooking.
Step 4: Add Vegetables
- Toss sliced peppers and broccoli with a little oil.
- Add them to the air fryer with the beef.
Air Fry:
- Continue for 3–5 minutes until vegetables are slightly crisp.
Step 5: Combine Everything
- In a large bowl, mix all sauce ingredients.
- Add cooked noodles, air-fried beef, and vegetables.
- Toss until evenly coated.
Step 6: Final Air Fry Finish (Optional)
For a slightly smoky, restaurant-style finish:
- Place noodles in an air fryer-safe dish.
- Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
