Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 pound (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
For the Linguine
- 12 oz (340 g) linguine pasta
- Salt for boiling water
For the Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Linguine
- Boil linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
- Toss chicken pieces with:
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place chicken pieces in the basket in a single layer.
Air Fry:
- 200°C (390°F) for 10–12 minutes
- Shake halfway through cooking.
- Cook until the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F) internally.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Alfredo Sauce
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Combine
- Add cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce.
- Toss until fully coated.
- Add the air-fried garlic butter chicken.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
Step 5: Optional Air Fry Finish
For a cheesy baked-style finish:
- Transfer the pasta to an air fryer-safe dish.
- Sprinkle extra Parmesan or mozzarella on top.
Air Fry:
- 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
