Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 pound (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
For the Linguine
- 12 oz (340 g) linguine pasta
- Salt, for boiling water
For the Garlic Butter Alfredo Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Linguine
- Boil salted water and cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Step 2: Air Fry the Garlic Butter Chicken
- Toss chicken pieces with:
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place chicken pieces in the air fryer basket.
Air Fry:
- 200°C (390°F) for 10–12 minutes
- Shake the basket halfway through.
- Cook until golden and the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F).
Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
- Mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Combine Pasta & Chicken
- Add cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce.
- Toss well until the pasta is fully coated.
- Add the air-fried chicken pieces.
- Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.
Step 5: Optional Air Fry Cheese Finish
- Transfer the pasta to an air fryer-safe baking dish.
- Sprinkle extra Parmesan or mozzarella on top.
Air Fry:
- 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes
- Until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
