Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce

A rich and comforting pasta dish with tender garlic butter chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and perfectly coated linguine.

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 pound (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

For the Linguine

  • 12 oz (340 g) linguine pasta
  • Salt, for boiling water

For the Garlic Butter Alfredo Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Linguine

  1. Boil salted water and cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Step 2: Air Fry the Garlic Butter Chicken

  1. Toss chicken pieces with:
    • Olive oil
    • Salt and pepper
    • Italian seasoning
    • Garlic powder
    • Paprika
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes.
  3. Place chicken pieces in the air fryer basket.

Air Fry:

  • 200°C (390°F) for 10–12 minutes
  • Shake the basket halfway through.
  • Cook until golden and the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F).

Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Combine Pasta & Chicken

  1. Add cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce.
  2. Toss well until the pasta is fully coated.
  3. Add the air-fried chicken pieces.
  4. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.

Step 5: Optional Air Fry Cheese Finish

  1. Transfer the pasta to an air fryer-safe baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle extra Parmesan or mozzarella on top.

Air Fry:

  • 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes
  • Until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
