Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Potatoes:

  • 1½ lbs (700 g) baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Cheese Topping:

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Marinara sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Meatballs

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until just combined and form into 12–16 small meatballs.

2. Season the Potatoes

  • Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.

3. Air Fry the Potatoes

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Cook the potatoes for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

4. Add the Meatballs

  • Place the meatballs alongside the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for an additional 12–15 minutes at 380°F (193°C), shaking the potatoes and turning the meatballs halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

5. Add the Cheese

  • Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the meatballs and potatoes.
  • Air fry for 2–3 minutes at 350°F (177°C), or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve hot with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or garlic aioli for dipping, if desired.
