Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub both sides of each pork chop with olive oil, then coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Place each pork chop on a sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Drizzle with Worcestershire sauce and top with a few pieces of butter.
- Fold the foil tightly to create sealed packets, leaving a little space inside for steam to circulate.
- Place the foil packets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
- Carefully open one packet and check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. The pork should reach 145°F (63°C). If needed, reseal and cook for an additional 2–4 minutes.
- For a lightly browned finish, remove the pork chops from the foil and air fry for 2–3 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
