Air Fryer Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
These crispy egg rolls are filled with savory ground beef, onion, and melted cheddar cheese for a fun twist on classic burgers.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese slices)
- 8–10 egg roll wrappers
- 1 small bowl of water (for sealing wrappers)
- Cooking spray or oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Cook the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease, then stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Assemble the Egg Rolls: Lay an egg roll wrapper flat in a diamond shape. Place about 2–3 tablespoons of the beef mixture across the center and top with shredded cheese.
- Roll and Seal: Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, tuck in the left and right sides, then roll tightly toward the top corner. Dip your fingers in water and wet the top corner edge to seal the roll completely. Repeat for all egg rolls.
- Preheat & Arrange: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and arrange the egg rolls in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Lightly spray or brush the tops of the egg rolls with oil.
- Air Fry: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 7 to 9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm with burger sauce, ketchup, or mustard for dipping.
