Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes.

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of water to each ramekin.
  4. Crack one egg into each ramekin.
  5. Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for:
    • 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk
    • 6–7 minutes for a jammy yolk
    • 7–8 minutes for a firmer yolk
  7. Carefully remove the ramekins—they will be hot.
  8. Use a spoon to gently lift out the eggs, season with salt and black pepper, and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

  • On buttered toast
  • Over avocado toast
  • With sautéed spinach
  • On English muffins
  • Alongside smoked salmon
  • With roasted tomatoes and mushrooms

Tips

  • Cooking times vary slightly between air fryer models, so check the eggs a minute early the first time you make them.
  • Silicone muffin cups or small oven-safe ramekins work well for this recipe.
  • For easier removal, run a small silicone spatula or butter knife around the edge before lifting out the egg.
