Air fryer Yorkshire pudding

Air fryer Yorkshire pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, beef drippings, or canola oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
    • Add the eggs and gradually whisk in the milk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
    • Let the batter rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the Oil
    • Place 1 teaspoon of oil into each silicone muffin cup or oven-safe ramekin that fits inside your air fryer.
    • Heat the oil in the air fryer for 3 minutes, until very hot.
  4. Fill the Cups
    • Carefully remove the hot cups and fill each one about ⅓ full with the batter.
  5. Air Fry
    • Return the cups to the air fryer.
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until the Yorkshire puddings are well-risen, golden brown, and crisp.
    • Do not open the air fryer during the first 10 minutes, as this may cause them to collapse.
  6. Serve
    • Serve immediately while hot and crispy with roast beef, gravy, or your favorite roast dinner.
