Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets (about 150–200 g each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Brush both sides with olive oil.
- Mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper, then sprinkle evenly over the fish.
- Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes. Thick fillets may need 10–12 minutes. The cod is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
- Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
Optional Flavor Variations
- Lemon Herb: Add lemon zest and dill.
- Cajun: Replace the seasoning mix with 1–2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning.
- Parmesan Crust: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan over the fillets before cooking.
