- 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken strips and toss until evenly coated. Marinate for 15–30 minutes for the best flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 2–3 minutes, then garnish with chopped cilantro and an extra squeeze of lime.
