Air-fried garlic mushrooms

Air-fried garlic mushrooms

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10–12 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) whole button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and patted dry
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the mushrooms with olive oil (or butter), garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  4. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the mushrooms are browned and tender.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and toss with fresh parsley and Parmesan, if using.

Tips

  • Avoid overcrowding the basket so the mushrooms roast instead of steam.
  • For extra garlic flavor, add a little fresh minced garlic after cooking.
  • Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a brighter flavor.
