Air Fryer “10-Minute Fluffy Butter Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup cold milk (add a little more if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Biscuit Dough

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter cubes and cut them into the flour using a pastry cutter or your fingertips until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the cold milk and gently mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.

2. Shape the Biscuits

  1. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface.
  2. Gently press the dough to about ¾-inch thickness.
  3. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or glass.
  4. Place the biscuits in the air fryer basket with a little space between each one.

3. Air Fry the Biscuits

  1. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  2. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 8–10 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and fluffy.
  3. Brush with additional melted butter immediately after cooking for a soft, buttery finish.

4. Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Butter and honey
  • Jam or fruit preserves
  • Gravy
  • Cheese spread
