Air Fryer Beef Burgers
These juicy, tender beef patties cook quickly in the air fryer, developing a great crust while staying moist on the inside.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio works best for juiciness)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
- 4 burger buns and optional toppings (cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, sauce)
Instructions
- Mix the Seasoning: In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix with your hands until just combined—do not overmix, or the burgers will become dense.
- Form the Patties: Divide the meat into 2 to 4 equal portions (depending on desired thickness). Shape into round patties about 1/2-inch thicker than your desired final size. Press a shallow thumbprint indentation into the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat for 3 minutes.
- Air Fry: Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through. (For cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking).
- Rest and Serve: Transfer patties to a plate and let them rest for 3 to 5 minutes to lock in juices. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.
