Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then whisk in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Shape & Bake: Drop ¼-cup portions of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk (or cider), and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle or brush generously over warm fritters.
