🍗 Chicken

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

🍝 Orzo Bake Base

  • 1½ cups orzo pasta (uncooked)
  • 3 cups chicken broth (hot)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

👨‍🍳 Instructions


Step 1: Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 190°C (375°F)

Step 2: Cook chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet or pan.
  2. Add chicken pieces.
  3. Season with:

    • Pepper
    • Paprika
    • Garlic powder
    • Italian seasoning

Step 4: Add orzo and broth

Bring to a light simmer.


Step 5: Add chicken and bake

  1. Add chicken back into the pan.
  2. Stir everything together.
  3. Cover with foil or lid.

Bake for 20 minutes.


Step 6: Add spinach & cream

  1. Remove from oven.
  2. Stir in spinach until wilted.
  3. Add:
    • Heavy cream
    • Parmesan cheese
    • Butter
    • Chili flakes (optional)

Mix well.


Step 7: Final bake (uncovered)

  1. Top with mozzarella (optional).
