Crispy Air-Fryer Pork Belly Bites
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork belly (skin removed), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the Pork: Dry the cubed pork belly thoroughly with paper towels. Transfer the cubes to a bowl, toss with olive oil, then add the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until every piece is evenly coated.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3 minutes.
- Air Fry: Place the pork belly cubes into the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded (cook in two batches if necessary).
- Cook & Shake: Air fry for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes so the pork belly renders down, crisps, and browns evenly on all sides.
- Garnish & Serve: Transfer the crispy pork belly bites to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess rendered fat. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.
