Instructions
1. Marinate the chicken
In a bowl mix:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- garlic
- paprika
- cumin
- oregano
- turmeric
- chili flakes
- salt
- pepper
Add chicken and coat well.
Marinate:
- at least 20–30 minutes
- best: 2–4 hours in the fridge
2. Cook the chicken
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken:
- 6–8 minutes total
until:
- golden brown
- cooked through
- slightly charred on edges
Set aside to rest.
3. Prepare hummus base
Spread hummus onto a large serving platter.
Use the back of a spoon to create a swirl or shallow well in the center.
Drizzle with:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- paprika or sumac
4. Assemble platter
Layer cooked chicken over the hummus.
Arrange toppings around and over the chicken:
- cucumber
- tomatoes
- onions
- olives
- feta
- herbs
Add optional extras if using.
5. Finish & serve
