Sausage Biscuit Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz each)
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, browned and drained
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease two 9-inch pie pans or one 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and spread evenly in the pans.
  4. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned; drain excess grease.
  5. Sprinkle sausage over the biscuit pieces.
  6. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Pour egg mixture evenly over the sausage and biscuits.
  8. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  9. Bake for 35–45 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  10. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
