Simple Celery Juice
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch celery (about 8–10 stalks)
- ½ lemon, juiced (optional)
- ½ cup cold water (optional, for blending)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the celery thoroughly.
- Cut into smaller pieces.
- Using a juicer: Run the celery through the juicer and stir in lemon juice if desired.
- Using a blender: Blend celery with the water until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag.
- Serve immediately over ice.
Optional Add-Ins
- ½ green apple for sweetness
- 1 small cucumber for a milder flavor
- A small piece of fresh ginger
- A handful of parsley
Yield
About 12–16 oz (350–475 mL) of juice, depending on the size of the celery bunch.
