Spinach and Cheese Crustless Quiche

Spinach and Cheese Crustless Quiche

Ingredients

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
4 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Optional add-ins:
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup cooked bacon or ham, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F / 190°C. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or oven-safe baking dish.
  2. Prepare the filling
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings. Stir in chopped spinach, shredded cheese, and any add-ins you like.
  3. Assemble quiche
Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Spread evenly.
  4. Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Insert a knife or toothpick in the center to check doneness — it should come out clean.
  5. Cool slightly
Let the quiche cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. This allows it to set further and makes serving easier.
  6. Serve
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed.
