Ingredients
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
4 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional add-ins:
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup cooked bacon or ham, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F / 190°C. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or oven-safe baking dish. - Prepare the filling
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings. Stir in chopped spinach, shredded cheese, and any add-ins you like. - Assemble quiche
Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Spread evenly. - Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Insert a knife or toothpick in the center to check doneness — it should come out clean. - Cool slightly
Let the quiche cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. This allows it to set further and makes serving easier. - Serve
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed.
