Strawberry Oreo Mousse Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (such as Cool Whip) or whipped cream
  • 12–15 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), roughly crushed
  • Pink food coloring (optional, for a brighter color)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gelatin
    • Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
    • Stir until completely dissolved.
    • Add 1 cup cold water and chill until slightly thickened but not fully set (about 30–45 minutes).
  2. Make the cream mixture
    • Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
    • Fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Combine
    • Slowly mix the thickened gelatin into the cream cheese mixture.
    • Add a few drops of pink food coloring if desired.
    • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  4. Fill cups
    • Spoon the mixture into small dessert cups.
    • Smooth the tops.
  5. Chill
    • Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours, or until firm.

Optional Toppings

  • Extra crushed Oreos
  • Fresh strawberry pieces
  • Whipped cream
  • White chocolate shavings

Makes: 6–8 dessert cups
