3-Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Mousse

Here is the recipe for this easy 3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse:

3-Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Mousse

Prep time: 5 mins | Chill time: 30 mins | Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned full-fat coconut milk (or coconut cream), chilled overnight in the fridge
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (or cacao powder)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup, honey, or powdered zero-carb sweetener (like erythritol)
  • Optional topping: Mini chocolate chips for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Prep the Coconut Cream

  1. Make sure your canned coconut milk has been refrigerated for at least 8–12 hours (this separates the thick cream from the liquid).
  2. Open the can and scoop out only the hardened cream from the top into a mixing bowl (reserve the liquid for smoothies).

2. Whip the Ingredients

  1. Add the cocoa powder and your sweetener of choice to the bowl with the coconut cream.
  2. Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until thick, smooth, and fluffy.

3. Chill & Serve

  1. Scoop the mousse into small dessert cups or containers.
  2. Top with mini chocolate chips if desired.
  3. Serve immediately, or chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to let it set into an even firmer, richer texture!
