Ingredients

For the Steak Cubes:

  • 1½ lbs (700 g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Asparagus:

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak

  • Pat the sirloin steak cubes dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Air Fry the Steak Cubes

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place steak cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.

3. Add Garlic Butter

  • Mix melted butter with minced garlic.
  • Toss the cooked steak cubes with the garlic butter and let them rest for 2–3 minutes.

4. Air Fry the Asparagus

  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place asparagus in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 390°F (199°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender-crisp.

5. Serve

  • Serve the garlic butter steak cubes with the roasted asparagus.
  • Finish with fresh lemon juice and Parmesan cheese if desired.

Tip: For juicy steak bites, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed for the best sear.
