Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 small flour tortillas (or 2 large tortillas)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or cooking spray)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Cut the tortillas into 6–8 wedges each.
  3. Brush both sides lightly with melted butter or spray with cooking oil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the tortilla wedges.
  6. Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  8. Let the chips cool for 2–3 minutes—they’ll become even crispier as they cool.

Serving Ideas

  • Vanilla yogurt fruit dip
  • Chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Caramel sauce
  • Apple slices or fresh berries
  • Vanilla ice cream

Tips

  • Watch closely during the last minute, as the sugar can brown quickly.
  • Corn tortillas can also be used for a crunchier texture.
  • Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 2 days to maintain their crispness.
