Ingredients
- 1½ lb (680 g) salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes or cayenne for heat
- Lemon wedges and chopped parsley, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat the salmon dry and cut into even-sized cubes.
- Toss the salmon with olive oil and all the seasonings until evenly coated.
- Arrange the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between pieces.
- Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The salmon should flake easily and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Optional Honey Garlic Glaze
Mix together:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
Brush the glaze over the salmon during the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, or toss the cooked bites in the glaze before serving.
Serving Ideas
- Over steamed rice with broccoli or asparagus
- In tacos with cabbage slaw and avocado
- On top of a salad
- In grain bowls with cucumber, edamame, and spicy mayo
Tip: Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed so the salmon gets nicely browned instead of steaming.
