Ingredients
- 4 small flour tortillas (or 2 large tortillas)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (or cooking spray)
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Cut the tortillas into 6–8 wedges each.
- Brush both sides lightly with melted butter or spray with cooking oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides of the tortilla wedges.
- Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Let the chips cool for 2–3 minutes—they’ll become even crispier as they cool.
Serving Ideas
- Vanilla yogurt fruit dip
- Chocolate hazelnut spread
- Caramel sauce
- Apple slices or fresh berries
- Vanilla ice cream
Tips
- Watch closely during the last minute, as the sugar can brown quickly.
- Corn tortillas can also be used for a crunchier texture.
- Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 2 days to maintain their crispness.
