Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz (340 g) smoked turkey sausage, sliced (higher protein, lower fat option)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

Honey Garlic Sauce (Low-Sugar Version)

  • 2 tbsp sugar-free honey substitute (or regular honey if preferred)
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos or low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook sausage slices for 3–5 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Add broccoli and cook for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  7. Pour in the honey garlic sauce and toss everything together.
  8. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce coats the shrimp and sausage.
  9. Serve hot.
