Air Fryer Potatoes Wedges

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (about 2 lbs / 900 g), washed and cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Optional Dipping Sauces

  • Ketchup
  • Garlic aioli
  • Ranch dressing
  • Spicy mayo

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes
    • Cut the potatoes into evenly sized wedges.
    • Soak the wedges in cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch and make them crispier.
    • Drain and pat completely dry with a clean towel.
  2. Season the Wedges
    • In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Air Fry
    • Place the potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 18–25 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the wedges halfway through.
    • Cook until the wedges are crispy and golden on the outside and tender inside.
  5. Finish & Serve
    • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
    • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
