Ingredients
- 1 medium red beet (peeled and chopped)
- 2 large carrots (washed and chopped)
- 1 inch fresh ginger root (peeled)
- 1 medium green apple or lemon juice (optional, for sweetness/acidity)
- ½ cup cold water (if using a blender)
Directions
- If using a Juicer: Process the beet, carrots, and ginger through the juicer. Stir well and serve over ice.
- If using a Blender:
- Add the chopped beet, carrots, ginger, and ½ cup of cold water to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high until completely smooth.
- Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine-mesh sieve into a glass, pressing with a spoon to extract all the juice.
- Serve cold and enjoy immediately.
