Creamy Mandarin Orange Cream Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 can (11 oz / 312 g) mandarin oranges, drained (or 2 fresh mandarins, peeled and segmented)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or powdered sugar (optional)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt (or whipped cream), cream cheese, vanilla, and honey or powdered sugar until smooth.
- Gently fold in the mandarin orange segments, reserving a few for the top.
- Spoon into serving bowls.
- Garnish with the reserved orange segments, chopped nuts, and mint if using.
- Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
Optional Variations
- Add shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
- Mix in mini marshmallows for a dessert-style fruit salad.
- Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafers on top for a cheesecake-inspired crunch.
- Add fresh berries for extra color and flavor.
