Creamy Mandarin Orange Cream Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 can (11 oz / 312 g) mandarin oranges, drained (or 2 fresh mandarins, peeled and segmented)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or powdered sugar (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt (or whipped cream), cream cheese, vanilla, and honey or powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the mandarin orange segments, reserving a few for the top.
  3. Spoon into serving bowls.
  4. Garnish with the reserved orange segments, chopped nuts, and mint if using.
  5. Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.

Optional Variations

  • Add shredded coconut for a tropical twist.
  • Mix in mini marshmallows for a dessert-style fruit salad.
  • Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafers on top for a cheesecake-inspired crunch.
  • Add fresh berries for extra color and flavor.
