Hearty Chicken and Gravy: A Comfort Food Classic (Air Fryer Version)
Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)

- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet chicken gravy mix
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter, sliced
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Equipment
- Air fryer-safe baking dish (7–8 inch)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Season Chicken
- Pat chicken breasts dry.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Prepare Gravy
- In a bowl, whisk together:
- Cream of chicken soup
- Chicken gravy mix
- Chicken broth
- Mix until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk together:
- Air Fry Chicken with Gravy
- Place chicken breasts in an air fryer-safe baking dish.
- Pour gravy mixture over the chicken.
- Place butter slices on top.
- Cover loosely with foil.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 30–40 minutes, depending on chicken thickness.
- Finish Cooking
- Remove foil during the last 5–10 minutes to thicken the gravy.
- Check that chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internal temperature.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
