Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup crispy fried onions (plus extra for topping)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Make the Casserole Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine:
- Cooked rice
- Chicken
- Cream of chicken soup
- Sour cream
- French onion soup mix
- Chicken broth
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Paprika (if using)
- ½ cup crispy fried onions
- Stir until well combined.
- In a large bowl, combine:
- Assemble
- Spray the air fryer-safe baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the dish.
- Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Air Fry
- Cover loosely with foil.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue cooking for 5–8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Finish
- Sprinkle extra crispy fried onions on top.
- Air fry for an additional 2 minutes until the topping is crunchy.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
