Fruity Tapioca Jelly Drink
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- ½ cup small tapioca pearls (boba)
- 1 packet fruit jelly (or 1 cup cubed ready-made jelly, such as lychee, coconut, or assorted fruit jelly)
- 2 cups mixed fruit juice (mango, orange, pineapple, or mixed tropical juice)
- 1 cup cold water or coconut water
- 1 cup mixed fresh fruits, diced (strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, peaches, etc.)
- 2–3 tbsp simple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Prepare the fruit jelly and cut it into small cubes if needed.
- In a large pitcher, combine the fruit juice, water (or coconut water), and sweetener if using.
- Stir in the cooked tapioca pearls, jelly cubes, and diced fresh fruit.
- Add plenty of ice and chill for 15–20 minutes.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Flavor Variations
- Tropical: Mango juice + pineapple + coconut jelly.
- Berry Blast: Mixed berry juice + strawberries + blueberries + strawberry jelly.
- Citrus Refresh: Orange juice + mandarin segments + lychee jelly.
- Creamy: Replace half the juice with milk or coconut milk for a richer drink.
This recipe makes about 4 servings and is perfect for hot days or parties.
