Crispy Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Ingredients
- 450 g (1 lb) salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Remove the skin and bones from the salmon.
- Cut the salmon into small bite-sized cubes.
- Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.
- Add the salmon pieces to another bowl. Add olive oil and lemon juice and gently mix.
- Add the seasoning mixture and gently toss until all the salmon pieces are coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C / 400°F for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air-fryer basket with oil.
- Place the salmon bites in a single layer, leaving some space between them.
- Air fry at 200°C / 400°F for 7–10 minutes.
- Shake the basket gently halfway through cooking.
- Cook until the outside is golden and crispy and the salmon is cooked through.
- Let them rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.
Quick Dipping Sauce
Mix:
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- A little salt and black pepper
Tips
- Cut the salmon into similar-sized pieces so they cook evenly.
- Do not overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated salmon with olive oil before air frying.
- Don’t overcook the salmon, or it can become dry.
