Airfryer roasted cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into bite-size florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika works great too)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Cauliflower

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the cauliflower.
  2. Cut it into evenly sized florets so they cook at the same rate.
  3. Place the florets in a large bowl.

2. Season

  1. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Toss well until all cauliflower pieces are evenly coated.
  3. Add Parmesan cheese if using and mix again.

3. Air Fry the Cauliflower

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Place the cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Continue cooking until the cauliflower is golden brown, crispy on the edges, and tender inside.

4. Serve

  1. Remove the roasted cauliflower from the air fryer.
  2. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
  3. Serve hot as a side dish or healthy snack.
