Airfryer Salmon Bites

Airfryer Salmon Bites

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb (680 g) salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes or cayenne for heat
  • Lemon wedges and chopped parsley, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon dry and cut into even-sized cubes.
  3. Toss the salmon with olive oil and all the seasonings until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between pieces.
  5. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The salmon should flake easily and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Optional Honey Garlic Glaze

Mix together:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)

Brush the glaze over the salmon during the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, or toss the cooked bites in the glaze before serving.

Serving Ideas

  • Over steamed rice with broccoli or asparagus
  • In tacos with cabbage slaw and avocado
  • On top of a salad
  • In grain bowls with cucumber, edamame, and spicy mayo

Tip: Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed so the salmon gets nicely browned instead of steaming.
