Ingredients
Burger Base
- 1½ lbs (680 g) lean ground beef (90–95%)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Mushroom Swiss Topping
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese (or 1 cup shredded Swiss)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Bowl Base
- 4 cups lettuce or spinach
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
- ½ avocado, sliced
- Pickles (optional)
High-Protein Burger Sauce
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
- 1 tsp pickle juice
- Garlic powder and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook beef in a skillet until browned and fully cooked.
- In another pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms with garlic until golden.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and stir.
- Place lettuce or spinach into bowls.
- Add cooked burger meat, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, avocado, and toppings.
- Mix sauce ingredients and drizzle over the bowl.
- Serve warm.
