Ingredients
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Steam or boil the cauliflower for 4–5 minutes until slightly soft. Drain and let it cool.
- Finely chop the cauliflower into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix the cauliflower, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until everything is well combined.
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into bite-sized balls or small patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the cauliflower bites in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- Cook until the bites are golden brown and crispy.
- Let them cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Tip
For extra cheesy bites, add a little more shredded cheddar to the mixture. Serve with ranch, sour cream, or your favorite dipping sauce.
