Air Fryer Sausages

Ingredients

  • 6 pork, chicken, beef, or turkey sausages
  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional, for extra browning)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Optional for Serving

  • Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Roasted vegetables
  • Bread rolls or hot dog buns

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Sausages
    • Pat the sausages dry with a paper towel.
    • Lightly brush or spray with olive oil if desired for a crispier exterior.
    • Do not pierce the sausages, as this allows the juices to escape.
  3. Air Fry
    • Arrange the sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each one.
    • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
    • Cook until the sausages are evenly browned and the internal temperature reaches:
      • 160°F (71°C) for pork or beef sausages
      • 165°F (74°C) for chicken or turkey sausages
  4. Rest
    • Let the sausages rest for 2–3 minutes before serving to keep them juicy.
  5. Serve
    • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
    • Serve with your favorite sides, sauces, or in bread rolls with your preferred toppings.
