Keto Garlic Bread

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1½ cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz (56 g) cream cheese
  • 1 cup (100 g) almond flour
  • ½ cup (50 g) unflavored whey protein isolate
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 large egg

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray or 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Microwave the mozzarella and cream cheese together for 60–90 seconds, stirring halfway, until smooth.
  3. Stir in the egg.
  4. Add the almond flour, whey protein isolate, and baking powder. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch (1.25 cm) thick.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  7. While the bread bakes, combine the melted butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Return to the oven for 5 more minutes, until the edges are golden and the topping is bubbling.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 8 pieces.
